Fast Ladies

The idea behind this series was that the girls had to look like they knew what they were doing.

In my mind they were the very pinnacle of ink based art, I was using Mecanorma pens and mechanical tones to do these on drafting film, before I got into airbrushing (but that is another story altogether, but if anyone out there has any of my work, I'd actually like a copy [or even the original?] of it sometime so that I can let everyone know how good I used to be!).

They retailed at £9.95 (inc P&P)

The posters were 41.4cm (16¼ inches ) x 63.8cm (25⅛ inches).

• FL6 Belinda & Yamaha FZR1000 doing a burnout.  (I didn't draw this one, it was by one of our freelance illustrators.)
